KARL GALLA & Avagreen landscape
A Story of Generations of Horticulturists
Horticulture has fascinated Karl Galla, Avagreen Landscape founder, as long as he can remember. His great great grandfather already was a horticulturist at the Castle of Miramare, in the 19th Century in Italy. Karl is the 4th generation of horticulturists, carrying on the uninterrupted family tradition. His daughter is a graduate from CalPoly San Luis Obispo Landscape Architecture School. Horticulture is alive and well at Avagreen Landscape.
After Karl got his Degree in Ornamental horticulture and Landscape Architecture from the Schoenbrunn Landscape- and Ornamental Horticulture College in Vienna Austria, he started to work in landscape design and installation in Europe. In 1979 he started landscaping in Southern California….
